[Maine-birds] Great Black Hawk flight pictures - Thursday afternoon

Henry, thanks for sharing your amazing photos that clearly show the molt in progress. Half the tail feathers
missing is not a normal molt pattern and indicates to me its journey to Maine was not an easy one. Perhaps it located an offshore island with plenty of migrating shorebirds where it can easily fuel its molt.
