Spotted yesterday, 8/6/18, at Route One pannes across from Anjon's Restaurant.
Little Egret was there when I arrived at 6:20 p.m. on rising tide. It stayed until 7:30 p.m., just past high tide at 7:05 p.m.
Dark lores and long black bill. As reported, it has lost its head plumes. Thick black legs and yellow-orange feet.
Foraging intently, "jogging" back and forth with nimble movements across pannes until moving to rear section behind reeds.
Exact match to photo of Little Egret taken by Timothy Fennell on 8/5/18 at 5:35 p.m. at this location.
