[Maine-birds] York County highlights

I birded from Biddeford Pool down to Kittery this weekend 8/18 and 8/19 (with a bit of the NH seacoast). Nothing out of the ordinary, but typical shorebird diversity for this time of year, with including good numbers of Semipalmated Plover, Least, Semipalmated, and a few White-rumped Sandpipers, Baird's Sandpiper at Cape Porpoise, Black-bellied Plover, Sanderling, and Short-billed Dowitcher.

This evening 8/19 at Parsons Beach I had a nice flight of 150+ Snowy Egrets in several good sized flicks migrating just offshore, followed by my first of fall COMMON NIGHTHAWK over downtown Kennebunk.
