I hope people do not try to get too close to the bird as it is most likely stressed as it is not in it's normal habitat. If you have have seen a roseate elsewhere, eg Florida, I think it is best to be considerate to the bird as well as the land owner, and pass on this one. I have witnessed serious Great Gray Owl harassment in the past. "Please Bird Responsibly". ;-)

Dennis Peacock and Dan Furbish just found a ROSEATE SPOONBILL along River Road in Dover-Foxcroft. They said the bird was flushed by a Great Blue Heron and out of sight at the moment but still in the area.
