Many birders looked for the hawk this afternoon (8/9) without luck. The last report on the listserv was at 1:52 pm where it had flown out to sea. To my knowledge, that was the last it was seen. Hopefully it is still around.
Bird haahd and take the day off next time a bird this rare shows up!
