[Maine-birds] FOYs @ Kennebunk Plains - late report

A not-so-very-early morning walk yesterday (5/4) around the perimeter of the southern portion of the Maguire Road section of the Kennebunk Plains yielded a few personal FOYs:

Field Sparrow (3)
Palm Warbler (2)
Redstart (1)
Towhee (2 male, one female)
Brown Thrasher (2, possibly 3)

Other notables included a single Black & White Warbler, two Kestrels, three Vesper Sparrows, and a couple of Barn Swallows. As usual, the most productive spots were on both sides of the narrow strip of woods between the perimeter trail and the big gullys under the power lines, more-or-less straight back from the parking lot (southwest corner of the property), and the area around the power lines in the southeastern corner.
