We had a flock of some 40 Evening Grosbeaks around all winter, on Benner Lane in North Whitefield. There are still a half dozen. I do hope they stay and produce!

Hi,
This morning, a pair of evening grosbeaks feeding on emergent crab apple blooms at 166 High Street in Warren, the front lawn area of Warren Baptist Church. Who knows how long they will hang around. Years ago (30 (?), a summering grosbeak pair brought two fledglings to my Waldoboro feeders.
At Weskeag, 3 pair of blue-winged teal in the roadsides pools.
