[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 6/30-7/6

Hi all,
My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:

- Long Falls Dam Road area, 6/30 (with Greg Drummond and "The Thrushes of Maine" weekend tour group):
2 Mourning Warblers
14+ Red Crossbills
1 Bay-breasted Warbler
1 Northern Harrier
1 Palm Warbler, etc, etc
- Lexington TWP at dusk, 6/30 (with Greg Drummond and "The Thrushes of Maine" weekend tour group):
2 Eastern Whip-poor-wills
1 Northern Goshawk
5+ Wilson's Snipe
2+ American Woodcocks, etc.
- 9+ Bicknell's Thrushes, Sugarloaf Mountain, 7/1 (with Greg Drummond and "The Thrushes of Maine" weekend tour group):
- 20-25+ Purple Martins, 15+ Black Terns, 1 Pied-billed Grebe, etc, Messalonskee Lake and Depot Road, Belgrade, 7/1 (with "The Thrushes of Maine" weekend tour group).
- 4 Upland Sandpipers, 16+ Grasshopper Sparrows, etc, Kennebunk Plains, 7/3 (with Jeannette).
- 1 "EASTERN" WILLET, Sanford Lagoons, 7/3 (Very rare inland and away from salt water; with Jeannette).
- Cap n'Fish Boothbay Harbor Whale Watch, 7/4 (with Marion Sprague and Jeannette):
800-1000 Wilson's Storm-Petrels
120+ Great Shearwaters
2 Sooty Shearwaters (FOY)
2 Atlantic Puffins
