Was out for a near last boat ride this afternoon on South Pond in Greenwood
not so far from Mt Abrams.
A flock of 35 or so stout black plumaged ducks were flying nervously back
and forth. When they passed closely overhead, their orange bill bulbs were
most obvious and consistent through the entire group.
Didn't see if they finally settled, but salt water was but 50 miles
further. Good luck to them.
