Comments: Steve Demers, me and Nico ambitiously took off up Cadillac South Ridge Trail to The Featherbed where we encountered Ravens. One Raven responded very nicely to a series of calls that I use by calling back in a similar manners and displaying with 360 and 180 rolls for 8-12 different rolls. From The Featherbed we followed the West Ridge Trail in search of Snowy Owls....which we did not find anywhere on the Cadillac southern ridge. They are a winter time denizen of Acadia National Park but today they were not present. Close encounters with typical forest species.
