Hi all,
I worked in Cutler all week last week and did not get home until late yesterday, hence delayed results. Due to the early date, I thought posting this GREATER YELLOWLEGS was worth the space. When I lived Downeast, I usually picked up yellowlegs, dowitchers, whimbrels and occasional peeps during the last week of June and first couple of days of July. Unfortunately, my work schedule kept me away from mudflats while they were exposed and the high tide roost were flooded after finishing up. No significant numbers of gulls were present, even in a protected cove near a salmon aquaculture facility during heavy rain on Friday.
