We went to check out Trafton Lake in Limestone late yesterday afternoon; the water was very high and there were no birds - at all - to be seen.
-- However, on our way out we stopped by the small pond near the Trafton Lake Road entrance. There we found a group of Mallards and a pair of Green-winged teals. I had never IDd one before and was surprised to see how small and fast they are.
