Good morning all -- As a consolation prize for being in the County for a meeting (instead of on a pelagic birding trip), I stopped in kind of stinky weather at Lake Josephine this morning (in Easton). Highlight was a Red-throated Loon.
In the lee of the s. dike, there was a handfull of passerines including 2 Chestnut-sided Warblers, 2 Yellow-rumps, 2 White-throated Sparrows, 1 Red-breasted Grosbeak, and 1 Song Sparrow. Most waterfowl were in the far NW corner and difficult to ID even with a scope. At least for me they were.
