[Maine-birds] Snowy Owl newcomer - Popham Beach

This morning featured an adult female Snowy Owl on the beach at Popham.  The lousy weather kept all other people (and dogs) somewhere else.  Photo here:

This bird is not one of the 5 here on Dec 01.  But I agree these birds are starting to act like tumbleweed.  They have a lot of momentum behind them, and it does seem as though they're touching down in one spot and then moving on.
