Agreed.  For example, there are at least two Sandy Points in Maine that I can bring to mind.

Sorry.  Maybe we could start with "Seapoint" near Crescent Beach.  Not on google and I don't feel like getting my map in the car. 

At the very least could we use DeLorme pages and reference points.  As in:  Joe's place is on Rte one a mile or two past the intersection of Rte one and Somewhere road, Delorme map 6, A4.  Or at least SOME reference point, for those who don't live near Joe's Place.
