[Maine-birds] Barrow's G-Eyes - Ocean Point

There were 3 Barrow's Goldeneyes off Ocean Point (E. Boothbay) this morning (1 drake, 2 hens) along with a Com Goldeneye hen with more yellow on the tip of her bill than is usually displayed by this sp. Dark sky, Light rain, some pretty serious SE swells, with deep troughs and towering crests. I was lucky to get a photo from my truck's window.

This area seems to be most exciting when the swells are from the SE and a high tide. Anything there will then usually be in close proximity to the rocks and the road. But no King Eider present today.
