Hi John,

 

I had one drake at the Dam in Oakland (at the end of Snow Pond at corner of Rte 11 and Rte 23) - on Tuesday this week with about 250 mallards. There is an easy place to park on either side of the open water to watch.  Here's the link to the e-bird report with a photo and you can get the map from there.
