I haven't seen any other posts so far this morning so here goes -
The Least Bittern had not been seen at Capisic Pond this morning as of 9:30 when I left. Sure looks like good bittern habitat so maybe it's still around - and can't we hope for breeding there this summer? Lots of other birds in the park though, including a flyover calling Fish Crow, Virginia Rail, 3 not-so-Solitary Sandpipers, several Orchard Orioles, and a nice collection of warblers.
