[Maine-birds] Union River birds - Hancock County

Good morning all -- about 3 miles of Union River paddling yesterday yielded pretty quiet woods (just 1 each Black-and-White Warbler, N. Waterthrush, Black-throated Green Warbler). But we also paddled by 3 Solitary Sandpipers, 4 (at least) Spotted Sandpipers, 3 Wood Ducks, a pair of Hoodies, and multiple Yellow-bellied Sapsuckers. No Winter Wren, no thrush songs, and a lot of unfilled warbler territory as of yesterday.

Cheers,
Craig K
