We totaled 31 species over 2.5 hrs.Highlights included:Blackburnian Warbler - several, offering exciting viewsBlack-throated Blue Warbler - dittoNashville WarblerMagnolia WarblerPine Warbler(11 warbler species total)Broad-winged Hawk - 2 calling to each other (in love or in war?)Bald Eagle - 2-3 flying upriver eyeing the shad runGolden-crowned KingletWinter Wren - hearing that song arise from the dense forest makes one believe in fairy magicFOY Scarlet Tanager - another song I associate with this placeAlso noted with joy: Painted Trillium, Wild Oats, Trailing Arbutus, Dwarf Ginseng, Canada MayflowerKristen
