I did a search of the Facebook group MAINE Birds for Indigo bunting posts. Not counting the cross posts from this list serve, I counted 30 reports from all over the state, numerous of them with photos of three or more birds at a time. It seems to me that this has been very big year for them. Here's the link to the group page with the search if anyone is interested.

Further supporting the Indigo Bunting theme; I counted 7 males this morning at Curtis Farm Preserve in Harpswell. To facilitate counting accurately, I photo'd Nos. 1,2,3 and 6.
I've always thought this spot was the nexus of IBs in Maine, but maybe there are other centers as well.

Reinforcing the observations indicating a major push of Indigo Buntings into the state, we also had two male Indigo Buntings appear at the feeder in Gardiner yesterday. They stayed around all day and even engaged in bouts of spirited singing from various spots in the backyard throughout the day!
