[Maine-birds] RFI: Searching for the Little Egret

Hi everyone,

My wife and I are making a trip from western New York to Hancock, Maine to visit family next week and we wanted to try for the Falmouth Little Egret, assuming it is still in the area. I see that it has been found in four different locations:

North Meadow at Gilsland Farm
South Meadow at Gilsland Farm
The end of Providence Avenue
Tidewater Farm

On Google Maps it looks like the North Meadow trail is accessed from the end of Walcott Ave. Is this correct and is it okay to park on the street there?

The end of Providence Avenue looks very residential. Is there a particular spot where people view from and are the residents okay with birders being there?

Finally, where is Tidewater Farm? I haven't been able to find that on Google Maps.

We won't have a lot of time for the search so I was hoping someone could recommend how we should go about it - for example, try spot A first, spot B second, etc. Is the bird present at these spots at high tide or low tide or somewhere in between?

Thanks in advance for any tips and information.

Good birding!
Willie
