Those who heard/saw the earlier, alleged flyover BLUE GROSBEAK are now less sure about that ID (and I neither heard nor saw it myself), so let's call that a possible species for today.
Other interesting birds seen in the past two days (but alas, not yet by me) that I learned about tonight include: House Finch (a good island bird), LESSER BLACK-BACKED GULL, and BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER, and did I mention several people saw a Canada Warbler yesterday?
