[Maine-birds] Belfast Bay census of 10/26/14

Three of us spent Sunday morning checking the birds in the bay and upriver as far as the head of tide.  Very pleasant outing.  There were still 3 Great Blue Herons and 54 Double-crested Cormorants around, but no Belted Kingfishers.  We found all three species of mergansers and all individuals were female.  The eiders showed the same trend: 4 males and 43 females.   The entire list of results may be found on ebird at
