This morning was a good one for sparrows in the greater Portland area. At Capissic Pond, Mark Rolerson and I found the following:
-- Field Sparrow
White-throated Sparrow (many)
White-crowned Sparrow
Song Sparrow (many)
Lincoln's Sparrow (2 or 3)
House Sparrow (many)
In addition there were 2 Carolina Wrens.
At Gilsland Farm we found
Swamp Sparrow (many)
Danny Danforth
