[Maine-birds] Sanderlings

Lots of sanderling activity at Reid State Park yesterday morning. Deb and I really enjoyed watching the sanderlings chase the retreating surf then escape from the incoming. Such tiny legs moving so quickly, then, if not fast enough, take flight to avoid getting caught. Nice morning.

Cheers,
Dave
