[Maine-birds] American Woodcock displaying in Brunswick

Hello Maine Birders,

Since the weather was warm and calm last evening, I stepped outside at dusk in hopes of adding American Woodcock to my new yard list. At 1919, I heard my first twittering flight display in the distance. Having lived away for a dozen years, this was the species I was most excited to get back to. It rose to perform about every two minutes. What a fun way to usher in Spring.

Good birding,
Eric
