Late Sunday afternoon the Eurasian Wigeon was still present in the flooded area along the Cathance River off Meadow Road in Topsham. Its constant companion, a male American Wigeon, was joined today by an additional male American Wigeon. The flooded area has shrunk in size considerably (which has concentrated the ducks), and it looks like it won't be long before the birds move on.
Good birding,
Gordon
