[Maine-birds] KELT's Lilly Pond Community Forest (Bath) - Apr 20

Five of us hiked thru the several habitats in the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust's holding this morning, in the first of a series of "Flash Birding" trips. The woods were very quiet, probable nesters limited to Broad-winged Hawk, Pine Warbler, Ruffed Grouse and Hermit Thrush. Recently arrived migrants were scarce.

The walk will be repeated in 4 weeks to appreciate seasonal differences in this beautiful parcel.
