Jan Pierson, Nat Wheelwright, and I birded Scarborough Marsh today and we saw two White-faced Ibis (one bright, the second not as bright and notably small) among 170+ Glossy Ibis at Dunstan's Landing. Also of interest. a male N. Pintail, 2 Gadwall (drake with a thin cream-colored ring around the neck, probably some Mallard heritage). An Am. Oystercatcher and dapper Long-tailed Ducks at Pine Point. Three Pectoral Sandpipers along Eastern Road where the erosion of the marsh is taking place at a remarkable and very worrisome rate, stunning really.
Best,
Peter
