[Maine-birds] Iceland gulls at Eastport Breakwater

There have been a couple of first winter Iceland gulls roosting on the Eastport Breakwater with other large gulls during the past two days. The Breakwater is the large L-shaped pier that serves as the municipal marina. It's an easy place to drive right up to the birds while they're taking a nap. Today is the first day of scallop fishing season, so there will be many pickup trucks parked on the Breakwater until late morning.
