I am hearing one from across the street of my house on Union Street in Rockport. There were always a few, a very few, around the village. But cannot weigh in on any regional trends - tho it seems from the post here that a decline may have occurred. Ebird might shed actual light on that.
This is totally out of the blue - but when Shakespeare wrote "one rose does not a summer make" do you think he was a climate change denier or just a hopeless romantic?
