[Maine-birds] American Avocet Still in Addison

We saw the American Avocet today at mid tide downriver from the Addison Boat Ramp.  The bird was vigorously feeding on the river mudbank at the bend of the river to the right of the boat ramp (as you face the water).
 
Three Semi-palmated Sandpipers  were the only other shorebirds we saw.  The salt ponds near the Pleasant River bridge were void of any birds!
