Gary Gulezian and I started our annual census program (September through April) on a very pleasant day (Tuesday, the 15th). Highlights were an adult Little Gull, good numbers of Black Guillemots, and two new birds to the census: Solitary Sandpiper and Black-bellied Plover. We also had six species of gulls on the day.
