[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights, 10/31-11/4

Hi all,

A few more sightings of note from me over the past few days before I head out of town once again (yes, during Rarity Season, I know...):

- 1 American Woodcock, taking flight over the store at dusk, 10/31 (with Kristen Lindquist, Evan Obercian, and Jeannette).
- Reid State Park, Georgetown, 11/2 (with Jeannette):
8 Semipalmated Plovers
1 subvirgatus Nelson's Sparrow
151 Sanderlings
18 Snow Buntings
8 American Pipits
31 Red-necked Grebes
16+ Red-throated Loons
- 1 Fox Sparrow (first of fall) and 3 Hermit Thrushes, Bay Bridge Landing Park, Brunswick, 11/3 (with Jeannette).
- still fewer than 500 Canada Geese in the "Greater Yarmouth Goose Fields" daily through 11/3. 
- 1 DICKCISSEL (prob. immature male) continues at the store as of this morning, 11/4.
- up to 6 Common Grackles continue at the store through 11/3.
