[Maine-birds] Kennebunkport: King Eider...

Happy New Year all!

This afternoon, Jenny and I saw a drake King Eider from the south end
of Goose Rocks Beach. The bird was a 1/2 mile offshore, near West
Goose Rocks, so a spotting scope was needed. Based on the plumage, I'd
say this is the same bird who had been hanging out off Ocean Avenue in
Biddeford Pool.
