My husband and I (and others) saw the two short-eared owls between 4:00 and 5:00. We walked a long way in (follow Mike's and Doug's directions); owls were near the tower. So cool to hear them call and see them make contact with each other. Perched on a short pine, just north of clumps of birch trees and the tower.
