[Maine-birds] Red Shouldered Hawk

Grabbed my kayak and paddled the Mousam River in Kennebunk starting at Mill Road.   Spent the afternoon with a couple of dozen wood ducks, 6 hoodies, a dozen common mergansers, 3 Ring Necks, several hawks and an immature bald eagle.  Thought you may enjoy a few of the photos including a shot of a beautiful red shouldered hawk.

Also on the river was a solo kingfisher, two blue herons, and 10-12 mallards.
