[Maine-birds] Lake Jo, Christina Reservoir, Tuttle Pond (Easton) Jun 15-16.

Quest for Least Bitterns unsuccessful. Dipped on Luke's Com Gallinule at West end of Christina Res., but a Moose and a Blk Bear made up for it. Soras all places.

Otherwise enjoyed continuing Redheads, Rudddy Duck (1 drake), Shovelers, both teal, Wigeon, and the other regulars at Lake Jo. Also came across what was most likely the same very conspicuous Am. Bittern on the banks of Prestile Stream. Video (audio) obtained. This bird apparently gulps air before proceeding with the oonk-a-choonk. Fascinating to watch.
