[Maine-birds] Blue-gray gnatcatcher, dickcissel, Baltimore oriole, Eastport

This has been a memorable December for birds at our house in Eastport. We have a Baltimore oriole and a dickcissel frequenting our feeders, and today a blue-gray gnatcatcher was seen flitting around the yard.  Maybe I should put the hummingbird feeders back out? 

Kudos to my wife Connie and Woody Gillies who both spotted the gnatcatcher and called me at work to gloat about it. I went home for lunch and tried to find the gnatcatcher with Woody. The little bugger popped back up just as Woody was driving away. We also spied two Iceland (Kumlien's) gulls on the water in front of my house.  It's not often that you can see a gnatcatcher and an Iceland gull on the same day.
