[Maine-birds] waxwings and buntings

Flock of 100 bohemians on the W. River Road on the Sidney/Waterville line this morning, then a group of 40 showed up in my yard--only the second or third time I can recall having them here. There were 4 cedars in the mix.

Yesterday I had nine snow buntings on the road and two cardinals at my feeders. The cardinals were back this a.m. with two Am. tree sparrows. Lots of juncos out by roadsides (and in the woods near us--fun to watch them forage on the open banks of a little stream last weekend).
