Hooded Mergansers on the Royal River between Route 1 and Lafayette Road overpasses. First of season for me here.
Did not spot Common or Red-breasted down river, but suspect they may well be around or arriving soon. Just hoping the river doesn't freeze over before the Brunswick-Freeport CBC which includes this smidge of Yarmouth.
