scared what I glancingly took to be a ruffed grouse from its roost in an apple tree. no photos. At lower Lions field parking lot in Cape Elizabeth off rte 77 (quite a few birds feeding on the bittersweet draped over the tree outside of left field). Would have been a lifer if I had a better look. Also a Hermit Thrush as I was looking for the grouse.
