Katydid, understandably not familiar since it's an insect that I think has been moving in from more southern climes.

We're at Lake Pemaquid and are being serenaded by this very rhythmic call at the lake edge.


Starts after dark and went on all night long. 

I can't find a frog or bird that matches.

What is this?
