Re: [Maine-birds] Sidney wood duck with babies

Recently fledged young (FL) includes downy young "restricted to the natal area."

Don't forget to use the Maine Bird Atlas portal if it's not your default.

While out walking/birding this a.m. I came across a mama wood duck with 10 babies. I went to enter it in ebird for the Breeding Bird Atlas, but wasn't sure what code to use. There wasn't one that was a clear fit. Ideas?

It was less birdy this a.m. than yesterday when I had warblers in good numbers and moderate variety including good looks at chestnut sided warblers gleaning caterpillars.
