Weather:
Beautiful day up at the summit. Hot and sunny! Temps peaked at 72 F, but it felt much warmer. Winds fairly weak out of the northwest. Picked up a few blackfly bites.
Raptor Observations:
Another slow day!
Non-raptor Observations:
Not much flying today. 10 Tree Swallows, 6 Barn Swallows, and 2 Ruby-throated Hummingbirds migrating. 30 species detected from the summit. Female Baltimore Oriole (FOS) sang briefly at the summit and then flew away this morning.
Predictions:
Tomorrow is the 2nd-to-last day of the 2021 season. Tomorrow will be hot with weak northwest winds. Partly cloudy. Keep an eye on Saturday, it's looking pretty good!
