[Maine-birds] Webber Pond, Bremen

Thursday, September 9:  the female hummingbird is still here, hanging out at the feeder, balancing on the clothesline, and visiting the flowers.
The young loon is in the homely adolescent stage, still smaller than its parents, but surviving the eagles so far-/ and I hear fewer alarms.  I haven't seen it dive yet .
I saw a young yellow rumped warbler two days ago .
The noisy hairy woodpecker visits daily, and the young bluebirds appear often and enjoy the birdbath as well as the feeder.
A young male cardinal is on the sunflower seed feeder now.
