Re: [Maine-birds] RE: (Maine Birds) Bottled Skunk on MDI

I recall a similar skunk situation from my youth, an animal with a
Hellman's mayonnaise jar on its head. I watched helplessly as it
banged against an alumunium storm door. In later years, my huge yellow
cat befriended a neighborhood skunk. One morning I observed the skunk
approach my cat and rub noses with him. On another occasion I
witnessed a baby skunk being skunk-napped by a tourist. The small
skunk had wandered near the busy roadway and a well dressed lady
passenger in an open convertable promptly snatched it up and held it
tightly against her chest as the car sped away.
