I have had a male Baltimore making frequent visits to the jelly dish for over a week now. Today he was joined by a male and female Rose Breasted Grosbeak.
Our Red-bellied Woodpecker (male) has been seen making several 30 second forays at day to the peanut butter suet log. (Probably more - as he comes and goes so quickly I am sure we miss many of his visits). I suspect he has a nest with babies up back somewhere.
Our mockers must be courting for their second nesting round of the season - a 24 hour serenade for the last 4 days - I wish I had their energy, especially in today’s heat and humidity. J
