[Maine-birds] American Wigeon at Scarborough Marsh

I know they are NOT supposed to be here this time of year, but yesterday morning after snagging a great look at the Chestnut-collared Longspur at Biddeford (ca-CHING!  lifer!), JoAnne Russo and I birded the eastern trail at Scarborough Marsh.  We had a very nice look through the scope at a male American Wigeon.  He was all the way down the trail in the last few salt water pannes.  We didn't think to get a picture, but it was a male wigeon for sure.  We got the solid white patch on the chunky head, with green eye patch.  Anyway, just hoping somebody else birding out there soon sees it too and confirms the report...  Thanks
